This little blueberry measures approximately 0.5″ in diameter. We only have one in stock. So, don’t wait on this one!

About Azurite Blueberries

An azurite blueberry is a small, rounded formation of azurite crystals that resemble blueberries in appearance. They are prized by collectors for their unique appearance and vibrant blue color. These formations are typically found in oxidized copper deposits where azurite has formed in spherical shapes due to the presence of water and other minerals. They are composed of copper carbonate hydroxide and have a deep blue color. These formations can also occur in other mineral deposits or as individual nodules within rock formations.

They are commonly found in regions with copper mineralization, such as Arizona, New Mexico, and other copper-rich areas around the world. While they are often found within geodes, they are not geodes. A geode is a hollow rock with crystals inside, while the blueberries are solid with no hollow space or crystals inside. So, cutting a blueberry in half would not reveal a geode inside. If you would like to learn more about azurite, click this link.
