What is Ruby Zoisite?
Ruby zoisite, also known as
anyolite, is a unique metamorphic rock composed primarily of green zoisite with natural ruby crystals embedded throughout. This combination is found primarily in Tanzania and is prized for its dramatic color contrast and natural patterns. The ruby inclusions are not only visually striking but also display a strong fluorescent response under UV light, adding a dynamic, interactive element to each bracelet.

UV Notes: For gemstones, 365nm is the best for UV lighting. Only some specimens illuminate under the other part of this spectrum (370-400nm). This is why some pictures are not as clear for our UV reactive pieces. Our older lights are at 395nm. For home use, the 395nm is less expensive, but in some cases, will need a zoomed beam on the flashlight style UV lights. If you do use a 365nm light, please take care to use eye protection. We now have a 365 and is used for newer pieces. More pictures are to come soon!
