Dragon blood jasper is thought to be a type of chalcedony and jasper. The most commonly found information is as follows below (italicized so that it stands out). Please note we have not found any testing data to support this. Any pictures found on Mindat.org support the idea of jasper which is often chalcedony or chert with various inclusions.

Dragon blood jasper is a type of chalcedony (a variety of quartz)that typically consists of a green matrix with red to reddish-brown patterns or spots. The green color in dragon blood jasper is caused by the presence of chlorite, while the red coloration is due to the inclusion of iron minerals. The chemical composition of dragon blood jasper includes silicon dioxide (SiO2) as the main component, along with various impurities such as iron, aluminum, and other trace elements that give the stone its unique coloration and patterns. The combination of these elements results in the distinctive appearance of dragon blood jasper. Although there is some debate about its chemical components, it also said to include epidote and red piemontite.
